RuntimeBuzz Student Software Scholarship
Particularly in the AI era, the tools that power serious software development—IDEs, cloud services, APIs, testing and deployment platforms, and more—can add up fast. This scholarship helps entrepreneurial engineering students cover software and tooling costs so you can focus on building.
The RuntimeBuzz Student Software Scholarship awards $250 to put toward any software or developer tools you choose—whatever best helps you ship your software startup.
Students at any accredited university are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Who it's for
Undergraduate or graduate students in engineering (or closely related technical fields) who are actively working on a software startup or a serious software project and can explain how the award will help you buy the tools you need.
Timeline
Applications are open now and close December 2026.

.edudomain - Three to four paragraphs describing what software, subscriptions, or services you plan to use the $250 for, and how they fit your project
